Pre-Season Task 2…Get Real–No More Excuses!!!

 

Excuse Excuses Excuses

And do I have heaps of them, more then I did in round 1 and I put that down to not that I have come up with new excuses but that I see the need to recognise my excuses and take full responsibility for them!!!

Internal Excuses!!

I want to sleep in, in the morning…………I will goto bed earlier tonight so it feels like a sleep in

I had a loss so I can reward myself with food…….I can reward myself but it doesn’t need to be with food, I can treat myself with a beauty treatment – Tan/Manicure/Haircut etc

I need to watch this tv show……. I can exercise while watching TV or I can just watch catch up

How I look now is who I am……… I have proven already that I can lose weight so I can keep going!

I can do it tomorrow……… JFDI you feel so much better afterwards

Just one won’t hurt I can work it off later………….. Check calorie king and find out how long it would take to lose that one plus 10 extras!!!!

I can’t do it……I have proven to myself many times that I can do it so JFDI

My muscles are aching I won’t do that again……..It will hurt less every time so just keep going

I can do a double workout tomorrow if I have a day off today…… Consistency is key!!!

I will never be one of the skinny pretty girls……. I can be the best version of me though and that’s all that matters

 

External Excuses!! – within my control

I have to work til late and don’t want to work out after that…… I can workout before work

It is school holidays and there is more temptation………avoid temptation make sure I am full and have snacks ready for times in the day where temptation is harder to resist.

It’s to hot/cold…….The gym has a comfortable temperature all the time anyway/ and I have a air-con/heater to make the house comfortable to workout in

Catching up with family/friends for lunch/dinner………..make a healthy choice from the menu otherwise have a small salad and something else to add up the calories when I get home

I can’t afford groceries for the week……..I can choose some soups to make they are pretty cheap to buy ingredients for

I am called into work and don’t have lunch prepared……..I will always have at least one meal in the freezer just in case

We are going on holidays……..research where we are going to find healthy places to eat and try to get a holiday unit so I can still cook my own food   

 

 

External Excuses!! – out of my control

I can’t make it to the gym……I have DVD’s, Wii Fit and all the tools I need to do this at home

I am sick………If I am to sick to work out just make sure I am eating clean!!

 

So there you go all of my excuses laid out for all to see
There are alot of them but I have faced all of them and this way I can get past each excuse and if I don’t I am completely liable

I will put up everything for Pre-season Task 3 Tomorrow
